日本では急に暖かくなったり寒くなったりしたと聞きましたが、私が住んでいるバンクーバーでも同じ感じです。3月終わりはとても暖かく、冬物片付けたのですが、4月の今はまた寒い日が続いています。そして、雨ばかりです。さすがレインクーバー…。
しかし、4月は本格的な春の始まりで、イースター週間もありますので、今日はイースターに使えるMusic&Movementを紹介したいと思います。
Freeze Danceというのは見て字のごとくなんですが、踊ったり動きを止めたりするダンスゲームですね。Freeze Danceは子どもたちに人気のあるMusic&Movementで、普段からよく取り入れています。こちらはEasterバージョン。イースターバニーになりきってhopしたりします。私の一番のオススメです。
“the wheels on the bus”というこちらでとてもポピュラーな歌があるのですが、この歌と同じ曲調です。

歌詞に合わせてバニーダンスを楽しんでみましょう。子どもたちは全力で楽しんでくれますので、特にwiggle noseの部分がかなり可愛くやってくれると思いますよ(笑)。
“Hokey Pokey”という歌もこちらではかなりポピュラーなんですが、それをバニーバージョンにしたもの。普段から”Hokey Pokey”のMusic&Movementを楽しんだりしているので、イースターの期間だけこの歌を使用しています。

日本でもイースターのイベントを楽しむことはありますが、幼稚園や保育園でイースターの為のアートや歌を楽しむといったことはあまりないかもしれません。イースターは復活祭といって、キリスト教において最も重要なお祭りとされています。キリスト系の幼稚園や保育園はイースターのお祝いをするかもしれませんね。
カナダではキリスト教を信仰している信仰していないに関わらず、イースター行事を取り入れているデイケアは多いと思います。私の勤め先でもイースターに関する歌だけでなくアートもやりました。
